BIOGRAPHY
Born in 1963, Argentina
Gonzalez creates sewn banner-paintings, embroidered and filled with sequins. They carry within them echoes of the street’s humors: they get angry, they protest, they declare their ideas without the fear of exposing their feelings. They are advertising flags for intimate moments made of thoughts and emotions.
His large-scale collaborative projects and performances, which have been staged at various venues around the world including Italy, Mexico and the United States, address individual and societal issues that include appearance, identity, time and place.
